One year

One year ago this character was born rainpath12.deviantart.com/art/… wow has my style changed. This is the first time I've drawn Wyngling Cherry on a tablet. The first time was on an iPhone. Crazy how things change.

This year has been one of the craziest of my life. Not because of Wyngro, but because of a lot of IRL stuff that had me traveling all over the place. I could hardly understand a word of French when I first posted this, and now I can hold conversations and can understand Disney movies without pausing to think about it. It's a really weird feeling.

Cherry has gone through a lot of changes, but deep down she's still a Wyngling. I miss drawing her that way. I've always regretted that she's had to grow up. But I knew it had to happen. Although she can fake it, Cherry's life is no longer so simple and carefree. She's a responsible adult now, but she never forgot what it was like to be young and happy and energetic. And that is why she loves Wynglings. Because she remembers. But she will never be the same. And that's okay.

I miss you, baby Cherry.
