Last Upgrades

Cherry got her last two baby upgrades. Cheek Spikes and Paw Pads. Poseidon got some upgrades as well. The first picture of Cherry is when she first got them, the one of her, Cream, and Poseidon running is the last time they all played together as Wynglings. I linearted this before Cream grew up, so that's why she's still a little Wyngling too. The bottom two picture are Poseidon and Cherry admiring their new upgrades.

And the last picture is Cherry with a bittersweet smile, because something is about to happen, and she has a bittersweet feeling about it. It is foreshadowing something about to come to pass.

Cherry:

Story:  "Hey, Poseidon. I have something you might like." Cherry called to her brother. He raced over. In her claws she held a tiny seashell braided on a strand of rope with sailor knots on it.
"Ooh." Poseidon said. The shell was a pretty pearly white with a touch of pink and blue inside.
 He hugged his sister. "Thank you Cherry! It's very beautiful."
 "I just thought that you'd like to have it to remember me by." Cherry said quietly, with a small tear in her eye.
 Poseidon's ears perked up. "What do you mean?" He asked her. She wasn't jumping around and shouting what a great day it was like she normally did. She seemed a bit sad. But Poseidon didn't know why. Cherry was never sad.
 "Oh, uh... I just meant that you should remember that I gave it to you, you know in the future when I need a favor." Cherry said quickly, trying to joke. But Poseidon could tell it was forced.
 "I'll keep it with me always." He said and gave his sister a big hug. Cherry hugged him back, with a little squeeze, and held on a little longer than usual. Then she let go.
 "Um... I gotta go, Poseidon. Bye." Cherry said suddenly. Then she ran away very quickly without looking back.
 Poseidon knew something was wrong, but he wasn't sure what. He held closely to his shell, and prayed with all his heart that Cherry would be alright.
